Gutnick Minimal agar 1 NH4/Dex

• Begin with approx. 700 mLs MilliQ H₂O

• Weigh out and add ingredients with constant stirring:

• KH₂PO₄                                  4.7g
• K₂HPO₄                                13.5g
• K₂SO₄                                       1g
• MgSO₄-7H₂O                         0.1g
• NH₄Cl (10mM) 10mL of 1M stock
• Bacto Agar 15g

• Bring volume up to 1L
• Separate into 2 1L bottles
• Autoclave
• Allow to cool in 50deg. water bath
• Add glucose to 0.4%:
• 5ml of 40% glucose to each 500ml
