LB Agar

• Begin with approx. 800 mls of DI H₂O
• Weigh out and add ingredients with constant stirring:

• Bacto Tryptone 10g
• Bacto Yeast Extract 5g
• NaCl 5g
• Bacto Agar 15g

• Bring up to 1000 mLs with DI H₂O
• Separate into two 1L bottles of 500 mLs each
• Autoclave
